Maybe you’ve noticed. 2020 has been a complete trash factory. So sitting down in front of your TV and screaming at the top of your lungs couldn’t possibly come at a better time.
In Hulu’s third installment of “Huluween” we sought to explore the congruence of humor, horror and healing. Yes, we just implied horror movies and healing. That’s the kind of year it’s been.
With unique, hand-drawn illustrations and animations, we brought a level of fun and levity to a theme that is usually reserved for being spooooooky. This evolution of the traditional Halloween imagery brought about a playfulness we could all use more of right now.

For the month of October, Huluween takes over the home screen on all Hulu apps. One might even say it "possesses" it.
Although the Huluween campaign is generally fun and light-hearted, there is an underlying theme of catharsis through screaming. Perfect for 2020.
